Tibet

Known as the roof of the world, Tibet is the ultimate destination for the adventurous seekers to experience enchantment and tantalizing mystery of a lifetime! It is the mystic land of ancient Buddhist culture, awesome landscapes, artistic monasteries, exotic cities, hidden valleys and centuries-old caravan trails. Sprawled over landscape of 1.2 sq km at an average altitude of 3000m and huddled in the rain-shadow behind the mass range of the northern Himalaya, Tibet is a mysterious land which has retained the feeling of the medieval era and tinge of Shangri-La. Getting to Lhasa (By overland)
The overland journey from Kathmandu to Lhasa or vice- versa is also possible. We drive through the Kodari border to the lush valleys of the Himalayan foothills to reach the barren plateau of central Tibet within five days.

High Altitude Sickness:
Due to high altitude, thin air, cold and arid atmosphere of Tibet, travelers sometimes may have altitude sickness such as headaches, insomnia, depression and nervousness. To cure this sickness, we remind you to have enough rest, drink lots of water (at least 3 liters per day), not strain or exhaust yourself, move slowly and breathe deeply.
