Location:
Darjeeling is situated in the northern part of the state of West Bengal in India about 600 km north of Calcutta. Darjeeling is famous for its tea gardens and toy train in the world. It is also a popular hill station, 7000 feet high in the majestic grandeur of the Himalayas with fabulous views of Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga. Best Time To Visit:
The best time to visit Darjeeling in India is from March-May or September-November. The rains which start by the end of May are heavy downpours changing the weather cold and wet. In winter there is a drastic fall in temperature from the summer's 15 to 25 degrees centigrade to 2 to 10 degrees in winter.

Visa:
Foreign travelers who want to visit Darjeeling must posses an Indian valid visa. No special permit is required for either traveling or trekking in Darjeeling. However, necessary travel documents need to be shown as and when requires at the immigration check post.

Explore Sikkim

Location:
Sikkim is a tiny Himalayan state of India situated in the eastern frontier between Tibet (China) to the north, Bhutan to the east and Darjeeling to the south. Best time to visit:
March-May and October-December are the best time to visit. Sikkim. Light woolens clothing are recommended during the summer (maximum temperature 20.70C) and heavy woolens during the winter (minimum 7.70C).

Visa/ Special Permit For Foreigners
In addition to an Indian visa, foreign travelers must possess an inner line permit, issued by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs or New Sikkim House, both in New Delhi and Sikkim Tourism Office, Siliguri to visit Sikkim. The permit is valid for 15 days. If tourists want to visit the interior regions, they must also require a protected area permit which is obtainable in Gangtok from the Department of Tourism. We will handle all the official formalities.
