Island peak also known as Imja Tse is one of the most popular trekking peaks in Nepal. It lies in the Everest region and the peak is seen as an island in a sea of ice. The summit is interesting and attractive with a highly glaciated west face rising from the Lhotse Glacier. The mountain itself is the extension of the south Ridge of Lhotse shar separated by a small col. the ridge raising to the south from this point leads to the summit of Island Peak. We can combine Everest base camp trek with Island Peak climbing catering to the interest of adventure enthusiasts.
