A Journey to Southern Zanskar Trek
This Nepal and India combined tour begins in Kathmandu to Ladakh where we trek through beautiful villages, famous Monasteries, pastureland and interesting passes including 5080 m Shingo La, one of the famous pass of the Himalayan range. The view throughout the trek is superb especially the view from high mountain passes. This trek is very popular for the western travelers.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu Sightseeing. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Fly to Delhi & transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Train journey to Chandigarh & drive to Pinjore, stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Drive to Manali, on arrival check in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Day at Leisure in Manali, Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 08: Free day in the Kullu valley, to explore the surrounding region.
Day 09: Drive over 3978 m Rohtang Pass, the gateway to the Lahaul valley & to Darcha.
Day 10: Trek to Rarig, a prosperous farming village.
Day 11: Trek to Zanskar Sumdo, where we camp by the shore of the raging river Barai Nallah.
Day 12: After crossing the Barai Nallah by cable bridge, we trek to Shingo La base camp.
Day 13: Rest and acclimatization day.
Day 14: Trek over 5080 m Shingo La to the high pasture of Lakang.
Day 15: Continue trek down the valley in the shadow of the massive arrow-shaped Gumbaranjon (peak) to Kargyak, one of the highest villages in Zanskar.
Day 16: Trek to the village of Testha.
Day 17: Trek to Purni, where the Kargyak and Tsarap rivers merge to form the mighty Lingti Chu.
Day 18: Trek to Phugtal gompa, one of the world's most spectacular sights. Its location, spilling down a sheer cliff face from the mouth of a massive cave, is a staggering one.
Day 19: Trek to the friendly village of Tangtse, at the base of the gorge leading to Phirtse La.
Day 20: Trek to Shingsaw, the base camp for our pass crossing.
Day 21: Trek over Phirtse La (5350 m) to base camp.
Day 22: Trek to Chumik Marpo.
Day 23: Trek to Sarchu Serai, on the banks of the Yunan river.
Day 24: Trek to Kilang Sarai, where we meet the Manali to Leh army road.
Day 25: Drive to Keylong, the capital and administrative center of Lahaul.
Day 26: Continue drive over Rhotang Pass to Manali.
Day 28: Rest day in Manali.
Day 29: Drive to Kullu, then a spectacular flight to Delhi, on arrival check in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 30: Depart-Delhi, transfer to airport for flight to onwards journey. (trip ends)
